A PSYCHOLOGICAL APPROACH TO INTERNAL CONFLICT IN J. K. ROWLING’S HARRY POTTER SERIES

As humans, we are inevitably confronted with circumstances in which must decide whether to make an easy or challenging decision. This is due factors that might lead the emergence of individual's inner conflict, then prompts manifestation psychological conflict. In literature, conflicts what generally a plot develop and progress. Thus, primary focus this article internal conflict can be defined as struggle develops within self. The paper aims investigate main characters, Harry Potter, Albus Dumbledore, Severus Snape, Voldemort, Hermione Granger, Ron Weasley, Draco Malfoy Rowling’s Potter novels by analysing their how those affect decision making. For purpose, Kurt Lewin’s classification will used identify type each character encounters. way, better understanding aforementioned characters formed.
